Crank shaft checked for roundness
The dial indicator is used to measure the amount
of rise and fall on the crank shaft journal.
The crank scraper is mounted on the oil pan rail and had to be filed and modified to clear the crank shaft and piston caps. The oil pump is a high
volume Melling pump and was fastened down with an ARP oil pump stud. A baffle was placed under the pump to help hold the oil down in the
